Description: This superb Newcastle away shirt was worn by Toon goalscoring record breaker and Legend Alan Shearer in the Champions League match against Juventus at St.James Park in October 2002. As per cup competition rules where colours clash, both or either team including the home team can change. Newcastle as the home side decided to wear their change alternative "away" strip.

This stylish minimal design Adidas manufactuered shirt has all the differences that set it apart as a players shirt, including Chris Kay Lextra flock black/white player size name, number, without the incorporated FAPL logo, Lextra flock Champions League sleeve badge and is the correct preferred size for Shearer. It also has the NTL (in their last year of their sponsorship deal) promoting different branding, ntl:home, which didn't appear on any other Newcastle shirt.

With Shearer now retired, this maybe your last chance to get your hands on a Legends Match Worn shirt.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
