Description: Here we have a very rare Everton home shirt that was issued to the current Goodison Park legend Mikel Arteta for a known game during the Qualifying rounds of the 2005/6 UEFA Champions League.

The long sleeved Umbro manufactured shirt carries all of the differences that you would come to expect on a player's shirt but also has the special silver name and number to the reverse that was used by Everton on their shirts during the Qualifying rounds of the competition. Due to Everton not getting through to the group stages of the competition the shirts carrying this special font weren't used again that season making these shirts hard to get hold and therefore very desirable to Everton collectors.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
