Here we have another of the "front numbered" genuine player West Ham United home shirt worn by Matthew Etherington in a known and significant game in this seasons FA Premier League. It comes to us direct from a football contact obtained immediately after the and is therefore unwashed, from a game where Etherington scored.

As you would expect it displays all the differences that confirm it as a players specification shirt, it carries the new Sporting I.D Lextra letters, number and FAPL sleeve badges, but what makes the short sleeved Umbro manufactured jersey extra special for collectors is the number to the front replacing the previous now defunct club sponsors logo. To our knowledge and until the club find new sponsors these "front numbered shirts" are not available as replica's making them very desirable to Hammers shirt collectors.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
