What an absolutely superb shirt to open out new vintage match worn shirt section. Here we will list older "vintage" shirts which we have purchased direct from players or other football contacts, shirts that have exceptonal provenance.

For those who remember the 1982 Spain World Cup Finals will never forget the Quarter Final match between eventual winners Italy and Brazil. A Brazilian team that contained Zico, Socrates, Eder, Serginho and one Paulo Roberto Falcao. The then AS Roma midfielder was famed for his "mad" hair style and of course his celebration after scoring against Italy in one of the tournaments classic games, when veins bulging he ran off screaming his own name!!!

Here we have a match worn shirt from a group stage game at the 82 Finals, which comes direct from the player with whom Falcao swap post match. The number 15 Topper manufactured shirt carries all the details that confirm it as a players shirt. A quite beautiful shirt that would grace any collection.

Are the shirts genuine?
All the shirts you see in this section are OFFICIAL shirts. They have either been worn or issued to the player. We have a broad and comprehensive list of contacts in the footballing world. This enables us to provide you with guaranteed genuine shirts.

What's the difference between Match worn and Match issued?
Match worn shirts have actually been worn in a game by the player in question. In most instances we will be able to tell you in which game, or which part of the season (some shirts are worn several times). Match issued shirts have been issued to the player by the club's kit man, but subsequently have not been worn and have come direct to us.
